Megan earned her Master’s degree in Literacy Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor’s degree in English from The George Washington University. She spent more than 20 years in the classroom as an elementary school teacher, where she developed a deep passion for literacy and student growth. Megan currently works as a Research Editor for a physician, continuing to apply her strong background in reading, writing, and research.

Megan is excited to serve on the MCAP Board. She is the proud mother of one energetic son, Luke. While she may no longer be in the classroom, she stays closely connected to the school and township community by coaching, cheering from the sidelines at her son’s sporting events, and frequently volunteering and organizing activities for the children in Luke’s grade.
