This seminar will focus on comprehensive updates of caselaw, statutes, and best practices for representing children in the legal arenas. Presenters will provide practical tips, frequently visited issues, and hot topics. Attendees will learn about confidentiality issues, conflicts of interests, and challenges associated with representing children in Juvenile Court, Orphans’ Court, Family Court, and Criminal Court.
In addition to presentations by MCAP Staff Attorneys, we will also hear from representatives from the Office of Children and Youth Solicitors, the Public Defenders -Dependency Unit, the District Attorney’s Office, as well as our Panel of Experts, including the Honorable Henry S. Hilles, III, Honorable Todd Eisenberg, Honorable Lois E. Murphy, Honorable Risa Vetri Ferman, and the Honorable Daniel J. Clifford.
This is for new as well as seasoned attorneys. You will receive 7 CLE credits, 6 substantive and 1 ethic. A light breakfast and a Buffet Lunch are included.
