Trauma-Informed Advocacy for Children Training

Trauma-Informed Advocacy for Children Training

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, MCAP is postponing the Trauma-Informed Advocacy for Children training. Wishing our Montgomery County community – and the world – health and peace in these difficult times.

All MCAP advocates and stakeholders are invited to join MCAP’s new Director of Community Partnerships Ingrid Parker as she delivers her training, Trauma-Informed Advocacy for Children.

This two-hour training will go into greater detail than our regular MCAP training about what trauma looks like in children, how to best manage it as an MCAP, and how to mitigate the effects of vicarious trauma on yourself.

This will be the first of two of these trainings to be offered this year – both for free! Our goal is to have all MCAPs and stakeholders trained by the end of 2020!

If you’d like to attend please RSVP no later than 4/10 to Ingrid at

Montgomery Bar Association
100 West Airy Street
